If your week has some flexibility, this 3-day itinerary is your guide to crawling your way through all participating Lakeland Bookstores! We've done the navigating, so all you have to do is grab an extra book tote and use this itinerary as your cheat sheet.

Thursday:  Kick off your customized book crawl year at Bookends, where Connie has shelves of over 100,000 books for you to browse (and buy, of course) your morning away.  Make sure to grab your Book Crawl Passport and stop by North Lakeland's newest coffee shop and one of our Community Partners, The Flamingo Bean Co. Cafe. Then head south a few miles to No Covers (formerly Little Bus Books) mobile bookshop on wheels AND storefront. Sharing a space with Plant Local (formerly The Nectary), a native Florida plant nursery, you'll have double the shopping opportunity!

Friday: Today is all Dixieland!  Check out Inklings Book Shoppe, located inside of a historic home turned bookstore, where every room is a different genre, and make sure to inquire about Finley's trade credit program while you're at the checkout counter.  From Inklings, stop by The Bookish Flower, Lakeland's newest independent bookstore, and Dixieland Relics.  Two of our Community Partners, both shops feature unique antiques.  Then drive a few blocks to The Unbound Bookery. Prepare to be awed at Sandi's beautiful book collection and reminisce through the classics you'll just have to take home. Don't forget to peek into the clothing and gift collections of The Bungalow Boutique, where The Unbound Bookery is located.  From there, you can easily walk to two of our Community Partners, Krazy Kombucha and Arrow & Bow.

Saturday: Today is the day to start at Pressed Coffee and Books, the one-stop bookshop for breakfast AND books! Even better – you'll receive a free coffee with the purchase of a new book.  While you're downtown, stop by Vampire Penguin, one of our Community Partners, and check out their cool menu. Next, head down to BookaReaderville! As Lakeland's largest used bookstore, roaming each genre room might work up an appetite, so enjoy a delicious lunch from Jessie's Gourmet Sandwiches, one of our Community Partners, before you crawl on over to, Crash Bookshop. This pop-up shop will get your creative juices flowing as you discover Brooklyn's unique book selections. After three days of amazing book experiences, end your book crawl by attending the Book Crawl After Party!

After grabbing your Book Crawl Passport and scoring some deals, check out North Lakeland's newest coffee shop and one of our Community Partners, The Flamingo Bean Co. Cafe.  Then head south on Florida Avenue until you reach Dixieland, where you will find Inklings Book Shoppe located in a historic home and welcoming to all wanderers.  From there you can hop over to The Bookish Flower, Lakeland's newest independent bookstore, and Dixieland Relics.  Two of our Community Partners, both shops feature unique antiques.  A few more blocks south will take you to the cozy shops of The Unbound Bookery and Community Partner, The Bungalow Boutique, where you can find the perfect outfit to match your favorite book.  From there, you can walk to two of our Community Partners, Krazy Kombucha and Arrow & Bow, to end your day of adventure.
